HC: miles’ parents are happy to buy him art supplies always but he wants to feel independent and insists on buying his own by doing comissions and customizing his friends shoes, bags etc and has even did a few tattoo designs
Occasionally hell find one of his dried out markers suddenly isn’t dried out anymore and his dad looks especially smug like he didn’t trip over like five things sneaking into miles’ room to leave in there.
